... purple wanted way too much and was almost uncomfortable, which, of course felt like the point, at first. But it was difficult to look at. The idea of dividing space into two "areas" - one closer, one further was good. Reaching this effect using the illusion of weight - worked, I think:

I gave this painting a name a long time ago (right after the "invasion" happened) I called it "Watch me drifting" - thinking about drifting, as of doing something to keep balance in the water or on ice.
There was a strong wish to change word WATCH to TEACH today, but I managed not to do it.
